Safe Opening Reveals Treasured Possessions in Eye, Suffolk

We recently answered a callout to Eye in Suffolk. The gentleman who contacted us had been unable to find the key to his safe since his wife had passed away a year earlier. He was planning to move house and the removal company had said they wouldn’t be able to take the heavy safe. His first thought was to dispose of the safe in a skip. Then he thought he might as well ask a locksmith to open it. 

We were able to pick open the safe without damaging the lock mechanism or resorting to drills. Inside the safe, we found £800 in cash and lots of jewellery – including his wife’s engagement ring. Our client was thrilled that he hadn’t just thrown the safe away.

We have a dedicated safe removal van and our team have been trained in the moving and handling of bulky safes, so we were also able to remove the safe at the client’s request.
